32oz Wide Rim Bagasse Bowl – 950ml | 500 Per Case (10×50) | Free Ireland Delivery

Quick Summary: 32oz / 950ml · wide rim · bagasse (sugarcane fibre) · microwave safe to 100°C · freezer safe to −5°C · 100% compostable · dome lid compatible · 500 per case (10×50) · 14c per bowl · free delivery across Ireland

The 32oz Wide Rim is the largest format in the bagasse bowl range — the bowl for portions that genuinely need maximum capacity. Not the medium soup or salad — that’s the 12oz. The 32oz is the decision: the operator serving generous main course portions, large outdoor event servings or any dish where the 12oz is consistently too small for the food. 950ml capacity, wide rim for a stable grip during outdoor service, dome lid compatible for delivery and to-go. Bagasse (sugarcane fibre), no plastic lining, 100% compostable in commercial composting within 12 weeks. 500 per case — half the case count of the 9oz and 12oz, reflecting the larger bowl size.

🚚 FREE delivery across Ireland — order before 1pm for same-day dispatch from our Dublin 12 warehouse.

Key Features

  • 32oz (950ml) — largest in the range – The right format for generous main course portions, large outdoor event servings and any dish where the 12oz (340ml) is consistently too small for the food
  • 14c per bowl — 500 per case (10×50) – The highest-capacity format in the range at €69.99 for 500; 500 per case vs 1000 for the 9oz and 12oz, reflecting the larger bowl size
  • Wide rim design – Gives customers a stable grip when carrying the bowl during outdoor service — festivals, food markets and events where customers walk away from the serving point with their food
  • Dome lid compatibleMatching dome lids available separately (SKU: 120591, 250/case, 24c per lid) — clear dome design, extra height for salads and pasta without crushing the food
  • Bagasse (sugarcane fibre) – Made from the fibrous residue left after sugarcane juice extraction — a renewable byproduct of sugar production, moisture and oil resistant
  • 100% compostable — no plastic lining – Breaks down in commercial composting within 12 weeks; no plastic contamination of the composting stream
  • Microwave safe to 100°C – Suitable for reheating food directly in the bowl for up to 3 minutes
  • Freezer safe to −5°C – Suitable for cold food service and chilled portions
  • Moisture and oil resistant – Handles saucy mains and oily food without the bowl going soft during service
  • Stackable design – Stores neatly in kitchen and outdoor service environments

Who Uses These Bowls

  • Food festivals & outdoor event caterers – The standard large portion bowl for outdoor events; the 950ml capacity gives a generous serving the right bowl without the food looking cramped, and the wide rim makes it practical for customers to carry
  • Street food vendors & food trucks – Large hot food portions at markets and events where compostable tableware is required by the event organiser; dome lid compatibility makes it practical for to-go service
  • Mobile caterers & event catering operations – Generous main course portions at outdoor events where the bowl needs to handle saucy mains and oily food without going soft
  • Restaurants & takeaways – Large meal portions for delivery where the dome lid seals the bowl and the dome height prevents crushing salads and pasta
  • Catering companies & corporate caterers – Generous individual portions and large servings at events, functions and outdoor catering where a professional, compostable large bowl is required
  • Sports & stadium catering – Large hot food portions served at volume in outdoor conditions where structural strength and moisture resistance matter
  • Eco-conscious food brands & zero-waste events – Operations replacing large plastic or polystyrene bowls to meet event sustainability requirements or EU single-use plastics regulations

Compatible Lid — 32oz Wide Rim Dome Lid

The 32oz Wide Rim Dome Lid (SKU: 120591, 250/case, 24c per lid) is the matching lid for this bowl — clear recyclable plastic, dome shape, 250 lids per case (5×50). The dome design provides extra height for salads and pasta without crushing the food, and the clear material lets customers see the food inside. Note: the lid case count (250) is half the bowl case count (500) — order two cases of lids per case of bowls if lidding every bowl. Lids are recyclable in standard plastic recycling — not compostable.

When the 12oz Is Too Small

A 12oz bowl that’s consistently overloaded with a generous main course looks wrong and performs wrong — food over the rim, no clean way to lid it, portion that undersells what’s in it. The 32oz Wide Rim gives a generous main course portion, a large outdoor event serving, or a big salad the space to sit properly — food fills the bowl without overflowing, the wide rim gives customers a stable grip, and the portion looks like it was served deliberately.

Dublin and Cork festivals, food markets and outdoor events use the 32oz as their standard large portion bowl — the 950ml capacity gives a generous serving the right bowl without the food looking cramped, and the wide rim makes it practical for customers to carry during outdoor service. Galway and Limerick mobile caterers, food truck operators and event caterers use it for large hot food portions at outdoor events where compostable tableware is required by the event organiser. Street food vendors and market traders in Belfast and Derry use it as their main large-portion compostable bowl at markets and events where the moisture and oil resistant bagasse construction handles saucy mains without the bowl going soft. Catering companies and food businesses across Sligo, Donegal and Cavan use it for generous individual portions and large servings at events and functions where a professional, compostable large bowl is required.

At 14c per bowl — 7.7c more than the 12oz — the 32oz is the right format for any portion that genuinely needs the extra capacity. The cost of the right bowl is less than the cost of the wrong one.

Bagasse Bowl Size Guide

The 32oz Wide Rim is the largest format in the range. For smaller portions:

  • 9oz Bagasse Bowl (265ml) – 1000/case (20×50) – soups, sides & desserts – 4.4c per bowl
  • 12oz Bagasse Bowl (340ml) – 1000/case (20×50) – medium portions & larger soups – 6.3c per bowl
  • 32oz Wide Rim Bagasse Bowl (950ml) – 500/case (10×50) – large portions & outdoor event catering – 14c per bowl (current product)
  • 32oz Wide Rim Dome Lid – 250/case (5×50) – clear dome lid for delivery & to-go – 24c per lid

500 Bowls per case
The 32oz suits generous main course portions, large meals, outdoor event servings and any dish where the 12oz (340ml) is consistently too small. It’s 610ml larger than the 12oz and 685ml larger than the 9oz (265ml). Use the 32oz when the portion genuinely needs the extra capacity — for medium portions and soups, the 12oz is the more cost-efficient choice at 14c vs 6.3c per bowl.
Yes — the matching 32oz Wide Rim Dome Lid (SKU: 120591) is available separately at 24c per lid, 250 per case (5×50). Note the lid case count (250) is half the bowl case count (500) — order two cases of lids per case of bowls if lidding every bowl. The dome design provides extra height for salads and pasta without crushing the food.
The 9oz (265ml) is the smallest format at 4.4c per bowl in 1000-per-case packs. The 12oz (340ml) is 75ml larger at 6.3c per bowl, also 1000 per case. The 32oz Wide Rim (950ml) is the generous portion format at 14c per bowl in 500-per-case packs with a wide rim design. Use the 9oz for small portions; the 12oz for medium portions; the 32oz for large meals and outdoor events.
The wide rim gives customers a stable grip when carrying the bowl during outdoor service — festivals, food markets and outdoor events where customers walk away from the serving point with their food. It reduces spills and makes the bowl more practical to carry than a standard rim bowl of the same capacity.
Yes — these bowls are certified compostable in commercial composting facilities. They are not suitable for home composting bins. Ireland’s commercial composting infrastructure accepts certified compostable packaging — check with your local waste contractor for collection arrangements. The bowls will break down naturally if disposed of in general waste, though commercial composting is the preferred end-of-life route.
