The 750ml is the standard lunch portion bowl. The default for most Irish delis, cafés and takeaways — the right size for a salad, a grain bowl, a pasta portion or a hot meal serving where the food needs to be contained, not just covered. Kraft paperboard exterior, PE lining for a waterproof barrier that keeps wet salads, oily dressings and saucy dishes from soaking through, microwaveable up to 2 minutes. 300 per case. If your 750ml is consistently too small for the portion, the 900ml (KB4) is the step up. Lids sold separately — the KB3 PET dome lid fits the 750ml only.

PE Lining — The Honest Version
PE lining is a thin polyethylene coating bonded to the inside of the kraft bowl. It’s what makes the bowl waterproof and microwaveable — without it, a wet salad or hot soup would soak through the paperboard within minutes. The trade-off is compostability: the kraft paper component is recyclable through most Irish council programmes, but the PE lining means these bowls are not suitable for home or industrial composting. For most Irish delis, takeaways and meal prep operations, PE-lined kraft bowls are the right balance of performance, cost and environmental responsibility. If compostability is a hard requirement, call us and we’ll advise on alternatives — but they cost more and don’t handle wet food as well.
Dublin delis and Cork cafés use the 750ml as their standard bowl for salads, grain bowls and pasta portions at counter service and delivery — the format that keeps wet food contained from kitchen to customer without the bowl going soft. Galway and Limerick takeaways use it for individual hot and cold meal portions for delivery platform orders. Meal prep services in Belfast and Derry use it for individual lunch and dinner portions for weekly delivery boxes where a leak-proof, microwaveable bowl is essential. Catering companies and food businesses across Sligo, Donegal and Cavan use it for individual meal portions at events and corporate functions.
