What size thermal rolls does the Spire SPg7 use?

The Spire SPg7 uses 57mm x 40mm thermal rolls — the standard size used by most Spire terminals including the SPw60 and SPc5.

How many receipts do I get per roll?

Each roll gives approximately 200–250 standard card receipts. A box of 50 typically lasts 6–8 weeks for a busy shop processing 150–200 transactions daily.

What happens if I use cheap thermal paper in my SPg7?

Cheap paper sheds dust that clogs print heads and sensors, leading to repair bills of €350–400. But the real cost is downtime — a terminal out of action during a busy lunch service or weekend trade can cost far more than the repair itself. Our OEM-approved rolls are manufactured to the right spec to protect your equipment and keep transactions flowing.

Can I use these rolls in other Spire terminals?

Yes — these 57x40mm rolls also fit the SPw60 and SPc5. They will NOT fit the SPx2 (57x30mm) or SPc50 (57x45mm). Always check your terminal model before ordering.
