65gsm vs Standard 48gsm — Why It Matters

Most cheap Clover Station rolls are 48gsm. That’s fine for low-volume use. But if your terminal is printing 100+ receipts a day, the difference shows quickly. Thinner paper tears more easily, jams more often and fades faster — receipts that customers need for returns or expenses become unreadable within months. The 65gsm rolls cost a little more per box. They last longer, jam less and keep your Clover print head in better condition. For any business running a busy counter, it’s a straightforward trade-off.
