DYMO Label Sizes: 99010, 99012, 99014, 11354 and More

DYMO LabelWriter labels are sold by code, and each code is a fixed size. 99010 is the standard 28x89mm address label, 99012 is the larger 36x89mm address label, 99014 is a 54x101mm shipping label and 11354 is a 32x57mm multi-purpose label. The 4XL printer also takes wide 104x159mm shipping labels. One catch: DYMO 5 Series printers, such as the LabelWriter 550, only accept DYMO-chipped labels, so compatible labels do not work in them.

Do compatible labels work in the DYMO LabelWriter 550?

No, and this catches a lot of people out. The DYMO 5 Series printers, including the LabelWriter 550, 550 Turbo and 5XL, read a chip in DYMO-branded label rolls and refuse other labels.

Compatible labels like ours work in the standard LabelWriter models from the 310 to the 450 series, including the 400, 450, 450 Turbo, 450 Duo and Wireless. The 104x159mm shipping labels are for the LabelWriter 4XL. Check the compatibility note on each product page before ordering.

Quick check: the model name is printed on the front of the printer. If it says 550 or 5XL, compatible labels will not work.

Which DYMO label should I use for parcels?

• Small parcels and letters: 99014 shipping labels, 54x101mm, on any standard LabelWriter.
• Courier labels from a marketplace or courier account: these are usually 4x6 inch. You need a LabelWriter 4XL and 104x159mm labels.

Can I get coloured DYMO labels?

Yes. We stock coloured 99010, 99012 and 99014 labels, plus yellow 11352 labels. Offices use them to colour-code files, departments or priority post.

What about clear and file labels?

• Clear labels: 99013 transparent labels, 36x89mm, for glass, bottles and products where a white label looks out of place.
• Lever arch files: 99018 and 99019 spine labels.
• Square labels: S0929120 25x25mm, handy for jars and small containers.
