Uber Eats usually runs on a tablet on its own. If you have added a printer to it, it will almost always be an 80mm Epson or Star model from the table above.

How do I check which printer I have?
- Is it handheld or on the counter? Handheld devices with a built-in printer take 57mm. Separate counter printers take 80mm.
- Read the label. The make and model (for example "TM-T20III" or "TSP143") is on a sticker on the back or underneath.
- Measure the old roll. Width across the paper will be 57mm or 80mm. That tells you straight away. Our till roll size chart shows how in two minutes.
If the app provider sent the printer out to you, their welcome pack or the box it came in usually names the model too.

Is it the same roll as my card machine?
If your order printer is a handheld 57x40mm device, yes. Most card machines also take 57x40mm, so one box can cover both. That keeps things simple behind the counter.
If your order printer is an 80mm counter printer, no. It needs the wider 80x70mm roll, which will not fit your card terminal. The full list of terminals is in what roll your card machine takes.
How do I avoid running out on a busy night?
Friday and Saturday evenings are when delivery printers work hardest, and a dead printer means missed orders and unhappy drivers. A few habits help:
- Keep a full box on site, not just a few loose rolls. Reorder when you open the last box, not when you use the last roll.
- Watch for the coloured end stripe. Most rolls have a warning stripe near the end. When staff see it, they should have a new roll ready.
- Keep rolls away from the fryer and pass lights. Heat darkens thermal paper before it is even printed.
