Nexgo, Castles, Spire and Poynt Card Machine Rolls: Size Guide
The DiscountTillRolls.ie TeamMost Nexgo, Castles and Spire card machines take a standard 57x40mm thermal roll. The exceptions are the Spire SPc50, which takes a 57x45mm roll, the Spire SPx2, which takes a smaller 57x30mm roll, and the Poynt P61B, which takes a 57x25mm coreless roll.
These brands turn up a lot on newer payment deals, so it is easy to be unsure what paper to order. Here is the quick answer for each model.

- Castles Saturn 1000: 57x40mm.
Castles terminals are often supplied through newer payment companies, but the paper is the same everyday 57x40mm roll.
Spire roll sizes
Spire is the one brand where you really need to check the model, because the sizes vary.
| Model | Roll size |
|---|---|
| Spire SPw60, SPg7 | 57x40mm |
| Spire SPc50 | 57x45mm |
| Spire SPx2 | 57x30mm |
The countertop SPc50 takes a wider 45mm diameter roll.
Poynt roll size
The Poynt P61B smart terminal takes a 57x25mm coreless roll. There is no cardboard tube in the middle, which lets a short roll fit in a small paper bay. A cored roll of a similar size can jam, so stick with coreless. Our core sizes guide explains why.
Not sure what you have? Measure the old roll's width and diameter, or check our guide to which roll each card machine takes.
