Technical Specifications

Loading Your Cygnus PT74

Never pull the paper manually — always use the feed key. Open the paper compartment, drop the roll in with the thermal (shiny) side facing the print head, and feed through using the key until paper appears at the front. If the first receipt prints blank, the roll is in the wrong way — flip it and feed again. If there are rough edges at the start of the roll, trim them cleanly before inserting. Using Koehler-grade thermal paper like these rolls extends the life of your print head significantly.
