Technical Specifications

Loading Your Hale TPD-01

Never pull the paper manually — always use the feed key. Open the paper compartment, drop the roll in with the thermal (shiny) side facing the print head, and feed through using the key until paper appears at the front. If the first receipt prints blank, the roll is in the wrong way — flip it and feed again. Trim any rough edges at the start of the roll before inserting. When you see the coloured warning stripe appearing on receipts, you’re near the end of the roll — time to load a fresh one before the next fare. Using Koehler-grade thermal paper like these rolls extends the life of your print head significantly.
